জীবন নাট্যের গল্পে
পরতে পরতে জটিলতা
অনেক টানা-পোড়েন, ব্যর্থতা,
তবু্ও সবুজ পএ-পুষ্পের সুগন্ধ,
শুভেচ্ছা তুমি আমায় পাঠিও।
জীবন মানেই সুখ-শান্তির দ্বন্ধ
কল্পনার স্বপ্ন-লোকে বিচরণ
যন্ত্রের মতো কর্ম ব্যস্ততা
তবুও মনের মাধুরীতে ক্ষণিক
অবসরে আমায় সাজিও।
জীবন মানেই কঠিন সংগ্রাম
দুর্বার গতিতে চলা সম্মুখপানে,
ক্লান্ত অবসন্ন দেহ-মন
তবুও ভালোলাগার অনুভবে
আমায় হৃদয়-মাঝে রেখো।
জীবনে পুন্জীভুত দুঃখ-কস্ট,
প্রতিনিয়ত যুদ্ধ জয়ের চেষ্টা
আপেক্ষিক সুখ পাখির জন্য
তবুও মনে মনে আমায় নিয়ে
ভালোবাসার স্বপ্ন দেখো।

In the drama of life’s tale,
Layer by layer, complexities prevail,
Many struggles, failures set the scene,
Yet still, the fragrance of leaves and flowers green,
Send me your wishes, serene.
Life is a conflict of joy and peace,
Wandering in realms of dreams, a release,
Busy like machines in endless haste,
Yet still, in fleeting leisure, with grace,
Adorn me with your mind’s embrace.
Life is a relentless fight,
Moving forward with unstoppable might,
Weary body and soul, worn and thin,
Yet still, in feelings that delight, within,
Keep me in your heart, akin.
Life accumulates sorrow and pain,
Daily battles, victories to gain,
For the relative joy of a bird in flight,
Yet still, in your heart’s quiet sight,
Dream of love with me at night.
